Spacious Expanda for Families – Powered Comfort with Off-Grid Flexibility Our Jayco 16.49-3HL Expanda Outback is built for families who love comfort and convenience. Suitable for powered & un-powered sites, it includes queen and double expandable beds, a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning (240v), and an internal toilet/shower combo with hot water (gas/electric). For added flexibility, it’s fitted with solar (external plug) and a battery system—perfect for off-grid stays when needed. Easy to tow, quick to set up, and ready for your next getaway. Special offer - For 5+ day stays we'll provide a hamper with fresh fruit & veggies and a bottle of wine to enjoy on your trip.

We have a Weber and Solar that sit in the van during travel, if you want to utilise this please let us know. We also have 4 camp chairs, a table and chair set & clothes line available on request.

Hiring rules

  • No offroad (other than camp entry if appropriate)
  • No smoking inside
  • Pets only upon application
  • Festivals (approval required)
  • Hirer age restrictions (25+)
  • RV to be return cleaned or a fee does apply
  • Toilet is to be emptied and cleaned at a dumping point before return
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    We had a wonderful holiday in Melissa and Petes caravan. It was incredibly easy to set up and had absolutely everything our family needed for a comfortable stay. We really appreciated the helpful video links explaining how everything works; they made the whole experience stress-free.     We had an excellent weekend camping in the panda expands! Everything we need was provided in the van. It was very clean and comfortable, Melissa and Pete were very accommodating with setting up the van for us, and great handover and pick up. We would definitely hire their van again. A great experience. Thanks so much.

    We had a great week away with Melissa's Panda Expanda. Plenty of room for us and our two kids (8 & 6). Using their bbq, camp chairs and table meant we needed to pack very little. Van was very well presented and the handover included everything we needed to know, thanks. Van was easy to tow, with the electric brakes connected to my phone via Android auto. Definitely will be keen to hire again if we can! Would recommend.
