Electronic Brake Controller must be used. Hirer can use their own or one can be supplied at an additional charge of $50 - see optional extras. Refer www.elecbrakes.com for any further information. Big Tip - Car lights to be on so the brakes work through the brake circuits light. Towing mirrors preferred. Attachable mirrors can be supplied at an additional charge of $20 - see optional extras.

This caravan is only available to hire within Tasmania.

Hiring rules

  • 1 No smoking or vaping in van.
  • 2 Awning must not be used when windy.
  • 3 Hirer must have full drivers' licence and collect the van in person (with I.D).
  • 4 Caravan and hired equipment must be given a clean prior to return additional cleaning fee will be applied if returned dirty.
  • 5 Van must not be taken to any festivals
  • 6 If an accident happens get off the road and stay safe. Please call camplify immediately on 1300 416 133. Consider calling the Police on 131444 if a nonemergency or 000 if it is an emergency and please notify us on 0407753999 straight away.
  • 7 If damage occurs to the van, report to us immediately
  • 8 No beach towing, no extended dirt or gravel roads, short dirt roads and camping areas accepted.
  • 9 Toilet cleaning failure to empty the toilet cassette at an approved dump point will result in a toilet cleaning fee.
  • 10 Failure to clean the inside of the van to a reasonable standard will result in a van cleaning fee.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Flora the Explorer was perfect for our family of 4. It had everything we needed for a 12 day adventure around Tas. David and Ellie were great with communication and provided us with advice on places to visit. We had all the utensils needed for cooking and cleaning. And having the DVD collection on a wet day was great for our little ones, especially all the David Attenborough documentaries! There was a bike rack too which was helpful to transport bikes. Highly recommend hiring this van, not just because of its functionality but because David and Ellie were gracious and thoughtful to work with. Thank you!
