Ajax the Great is perfect for weekend gateway and longer road trips. It sleeps 2 people best, although the permanent hi-top also allows for a pull out bed that can sleep 2 children or a limber person. The permanent hi-top allows you to comfortably stand in the van while dressing up or cooking. This is not to be underestimated! My partner is 6'2/188cm and is able to stand in the hi-top without issue. It has 4 seats with seatbelts. The inside is professionally built by Talvor to maximize the space and make life on the road a breeze! Fully equipped gas kitchen, solar panel, plugs, usb ports, fan, air con, and top quality Fiama awning for brush stops, sink with tap for cold and potable water, pantries, microwave, fridge with freezer. Enjoying ice cream while looking out a valley and having ice for your mojitos is priceless. All windows, including the back door, have fly screens and curtains, perfect to enjoy sleeping and cooking in the warm weather without worrying about flies, mosquitos and spiders. The kitchen is inside, so you can cook safely in all type of weather conditions. Brand new touchscreen with Bluetooth to show maps, blast your music on the road or relax with a yoga guided session at night time. Rear camera for easy and safe reverse and parking. The image appears on the touch screen. Blind spots magnifier on side mirrors. Lastly, Ajax has a Viper alarm that protects from break ins by locking the doors and blocking the ignition. Additional information

Touchscreen navigation is compatible with Android only, via your own high quality USB-C to USB-A cable (Samsung official cable is recommended). Bluetooth compatibility works with any Bluetooth device, but is more limited in capability. Camping tables and chairs available for an extra $25.00.

Pick Up/Drop Off handovers take place near my home. You are welcome to leave excess luggage.
Bedding/Linen Package $50.00/bed includes:
Warm queen sized quilt
Large blanket for added warmth
Pillows
Sheets and bath towels
Tea towels, tablecloth, cleaning cloths.
The van will have a full tank of fuel when you pick it up and it's to be returned with a full tank of fuel.
🚫 No OFFROAD / No Beach Driving.
🚬 No smoking inside the van
🧹CLEANING Please return the van in the same condition it was taken, this includes being as clean on the inside and outside as it was on pickup.
Please drive in daylight hours to keep you and your passengers safe and avoid hitting wildlife.

Pricing

Hire Fee: From $125.00 per day
Service fee: $80.00

Cancellations

Flexible

Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

Ajax the Great was our home for 12 days. Our round trip to Brisbane was amazing. Drives just like a car. Its smaller size accommodated easy parking to stealth camp the whole trip. No issues at all. Ida was amazing at handover (pickup and drop off) and explained all the ins and outs of the van. It was an awesome experience for us and will most likely hire Ajax the Great again in the near future. Toyota motor gives you that peace of mind for reliability and the size was extremely comfortable for the two of us.

This is a great little van. Very easy to drive (nifty!). The van is well equipped with all that's needed for life on the road. Comfy bed and a good use of space. The van is clean and well maintained. Good communication and handover. I would book again!
