Previously a penfolds vino delivery for van now a mountainbiker / adventurer van. Located only 3km from hobart airport Penny is your meaning you can be at the bike parks or hikes within 30 minutes. Long wheel base 2005 manual toyota hiace with an easy to drive steering wheel gearstick and forgiving clutch. Air conditioning, working radio and ye old fashion bluetooth radio tuner for your driving comfort needs. This van has been designed primarily with the mountain biker in mind: - Foldable bed from single to double; allowing for bike to be slept next to in the van where it belongs (not chained to the wheel outside). - ample room at the front for 1-2 bikes with front wheel taken off. Would be able to fit (tight) 2 large bikes and a small bike. - memory foam mattress for a comfortable nights sleep with doona, heavy blanket and pillows - plenty of hanging space for back packs, helmets, camel backs - camp chairs, cooking utensils, esky, 20L water carrier and cutlery. - stove top + gas cylinder Please note due to demand, Van is only being hired out for minimum 7 days. Van has professional turn down service after each use. Premium coverage. Has parks access all year round!

Does not include: - mountain bike - gazebo or outdoor camp set Quirks and eccentricities: - Central locking: Lock from passenger side, and lock sliding door. Drives door does not trigger central locking. - Pump gas when starting the van, takes around 2-3 seconds to turn on when cold. (needs to have fuel in the line).

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Great budget-friendly van for those who only need a basic setup

    Isabella responded well, and van pick up was convenient. Bed was comfortable, clean, and extra towels were provided. Camp stove and basic cooking equipment was provided. Blind system didn't work ... kitchen items were all dirty and there was a broken glass and sand in the bin of misc camp items. Only one light in the van worked (of three). Spider webs throughout vehicle (home to a spider that I could not remove). Van not for the faint-hearted... but did its job.

    I had great time with Penny! The bed was very comfy and it had all I needed, even thought it's simple. The driving felt comfortable and save.

loves tassi and doing all the outdoors activities that this little island has to offer. Bought the van at the start of 2024 after doing 2 months over december and january - now it's your turn!
