We live in the Nelson Bay area. The caravan is towed free of charge to any of the number of parks in the area. These include Birubi, One Mile Beach, Middle Rock, Bays Holiday Park, Soldiers Point, Halifax, Shoal Bay and Fingal Bay. Being local, let us know what type of holiday you're after and we can suggest a park to suit you. Whether you want to walk to the beach for a surf, bring your boat and be near a boat ramp, or walk to local restaurants and cafes, there are plenty of options available. If you are looking for something extra, we also have 2 kayaks that are available to hire for as little as 1 day, or for the duration of your holiday.

Hiring rules

• The caravan is smoke free inside and out.
• Hirer will be required to empty the toilet cassette as required, and it must be emptied at end of stay.

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

  Geoff was an absolute pleasure to communicate with! Due to unforeseen circumstances we didnt get the pleasure of meeting him in person, but he was available via phone/text for a few questions we had during our booking. The van is as described, not a newer van, but it has everything you need for a fabulous caravan holiday and is very well equiped and tidy. We especially appreciated the coffee pod machine! The bed was very comfortable and we removed the table to put up a portacot for our 4 month old son. Overall it was a fabulous first experience in a caravan, 10 outta 10!!

  A fantastic, well equipped van! Gary the Gazel had everything we needed and so much more. The bed was comfortable and plenty of lounge area for a coffee in the morning. Geoff and Deb's handover was easy and clear - great people!! Would highly recommend this van!

  I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with Geoff and Deb. From start to finish, everything was handled with the utmost professionalism and care. The caravan was in fantastic condition and had everything I needed for a pleasant holiday. It was clean and well-maintained. Geoff and Deb had clearly put a lot of effort into making sure that the caravan was fully equipped and ready for use. It was an absolute delight to deal with Geoff and Deb. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout the entire rental process, and made me feel right at home in their caravan. They took the time to set the caravan up for me and provide me with all the information I needed, which made my stay pleasant and zero-hassle. Overall, I would highly recommend this caravan owner to anyone looking for a reliable, well-maintained caravan for their next trip.

  The van is a bit older which you can tell. There are some things coming apart etc. but everything is functional. It was exactly what we needed. It has what you need for a weekend away. Geoff was really nice and explained everything well and everything promised was delivered. The van wasn't super clean, but if you don't mind that, then no biggie. Be aware the fridge isn't super cold and the freezer didn't really keep things frozen but cold enough for a weekend.
