The van is neat and compact and contains pretty much all you need for a short trip away. We slept 2 in the van for 3 nights and it was cozy but comfortable. Ben's mum was great and made sure we had everything we needed inc an Esky, a mozzie net for the back of the van (essential) and a tarp and poles (essential if rain is forecast and you want to cook and sit outside). Van drives well and is pretty fuel efficient. We did just over 400km on 24 litres. Communication, pick up and drop off we're all good. Cheaper than a hire car! I recommend it highly.

I took Ben's Caddy on a 1 person road trip to Kosciuszko National Park. Mechanically the van is in great condition, it drives comfortably at highway speeds, braking and handling were very good. Extremely fuel efficient - I averaged about 7L diesel / 100km. The pull-out camp kitchen worked effortlessly and for safety, simply required that you screw on and off the small gas bottle (provided) between uses. There is a surprising amount of storage in the pull-out drawers under the bed. The bed is a comfortable double foam mattress (with clean mattress protector) that is slightly cut down to fit in the van. I'm 6 foot and could sleep on my side with my knees slightly bent or diagonally when fully stretched. It would be snug for two people but definitely doable and a lot more comfortable than a 2 person tent. There's a good range of power outlets and lights in the back of the van which is convenient for recharging your phone overnight or using the floodlight (provided) over the kitchen. I improvised some window coverings and hung a sheet from above the ceiling above the front seats for privacy and to keep the light out in the morning. One thing to consider also is that cooking in the rain is a challenge, you could either bring a tarp and hang it over the back doors or I just used a large umbrella. Ben's van is awesome. If you're looking for a safe, reliable, nimble and economical camper van don't miss the opportunity to go for a trip in Ben's Caddy.

I was travelling solo and this van literally had everything I needed apart from a fridge/esky! The set up is amazing; efficient design, so much storage space, super comfy bed (not too soft not too hard), bluetooth, stereo, reverse camera, USBs for charging 24/7 if you dont have external power, fuel efficient and such a smooth drive on the open road! Theres a couple of minor things with the van however Ben was completely open and transparent about them which felt like I could really trust him. Ben and his family were very open and friendly to communicate with through the whole process. For $50 hire per day, you really cant ask for more!
