Home away from Home was exactly as we expected from the photos and information. Is a great van for a couple and the bathroom and shower are just fantastic. Gail was easy to deal with and always responded to any questions within a short time. We had a delivered booking and Delivery and pickup of the van was seamless. Already looking forward to the next time we get away and stay in Home Away From Home

Absolutely fabulous. Gail and Rob are lovely and set the van up and picked it up. We had a great time away, the van is just luxury away from home with everything you could want.

The hire of the caravan went very smoothly. Communication was quick. We had a few minor issues with the van but nothing major. It was presented well. The bed wasn't very comfortable but everyone likes a different comfort rating in beds. Look forward to hiring in the future.

Rod and Gail were fantastic from the start of the hiring process till the end. We found the van to be very much the Home away from home after spending 5 weeks travelling around Central and East coast of Queensland. It had everything we needed to make our journey so very enjoyable from the well equipped kitchen with the large fridge/freezer to the en-suite with shower and toilet at the rear of the van plus the Webber BBQ was fantastic to cook and dine outdoors at every opportunity. We stayed in a number of Caravan Parkes in the region and most could accomodate the large van but some only have limited sites for the size of this van so it always pays to book ahead. The van towed incredibly well considering the overall length and weight of it. We would definitely recommend Rod and Gails home away from home caravan for wonderfull relaxing holiday experience. Gail & Rod were super friendly and helpful when booking and throughout our trip. Everything was super easy from check in to returning the camper. The camper itself was fantastic, plenty of room for 4 adults and all the bits and bobs you need for camping. The fridge/freezer and solar panels worked exceptionally well. Would definitely recommend!

Rod was very easy to communicate with and super quick to reply to any questions we had. We traveled 16hrs from NSW towing a float on the Monday and unfortunately had car issues, I sent Rod a text saying we had been up since 1am and wouldn't get to the venue where the caravan was to do change over until very late at night... Rod was absolutely lovely and sent us a text saying he'd turned the heater and lights on for us and supplied bedding just in case we didn't want to make the bed after an exhausting trip; this was so greatly appreciated and very kind! The caravan was fantastic! Everything worked, looked exactly the same as the photos and described, very comfy bed, big kitchen, great sized fridge and the bathroom is beautiful.... we never used the bathroom as there was amenities at the venue we were camped at but this extra 'room' was perfect for storing bits and pieces, also my dogs crate & bed (he's a therapy companion dog) which was also a bonus that Rod was happy for us to bring our dog!! As an Australian athlete, this was a Tokyo Paralympic Games qualifier event for me and to have a comfy and very clean caravan to have for the week to call 'home' was a huge help for my preparation as I was able to relax between events. We will certainly hire again if we are in the area again!!
