We had a great time in Berti and had no trouble fitting in two adults below and two children up above in the pop top. Bertram was very helpful with advice before we set off. The VW engine makes a wonderful sound!

Had a great weekend away in Little Miss Sunshine. The owner puts a lot of love into his little vans and it shows, flexible with pick up and drop off times, plenty of equipment to cook with and be comfortable. Yes its got no power steering or aircon and yes you could hire something more up to date for the same money but wow what a treat to experience an original combi. I would definitely hire from here again!

If you are looking to arrive at the campsite in something different then look no further. In a group of 5 or 6 caravans, the bright red kombi stuck out and had everyone coming to take a peek. Berti responded quickly to questions and confirm the booking and extremely accommodating with pick up and drop off. The Kombi was very easy to operate and very comfortable for the 3 hour drive we had each way to our campsite. We will remember out long weekend camping in the Kombi for many years to come. Thanks Berti.

Great van and gray hiring experience. Bertram went out of his way to help us out and allow us to have the best time possible. Located close to the amazing Lamington National Park which is a big plus.

We hired Berti for about 2 weeks and did a lot of travelling. Loved driving Berti. No problems mechanically and everything operated just fine. I don't know if we missed it in the description prior to booking, but we were unaware that Berti required Premium 98 fuel. Had we known this, and doing such a long trip, we may not have booked due to the high cost of premium fuel. Definitely a fair weather vehicle as we had rain practically the whole time we hired Berti and it gets a bit cramped inside without being able to sit outside in the provided chairs (which was great when we could do it). Berti's owner was very prompt with communication and helpful in giving advice. We think it's a great little camper and just perfect for a few days away.

A gorgeous vintage VW with renovations and fully kitted out for all your road trip and camping needs. A pleasure to drive and such character, we had a charming week in the van and the owner Berti was easy to contact and made sure everything ran smoothly. Highly recommend!
