Very easy and tidy van.

Had a great little trip in this van to the Yorke Peninsula. My partner and I were away for 3 nights and 4 days at a standalone site and we were very comfortable! The lowering bed (although slightly small for my partner) made for a good sleep, the gas stove and sink in the van operated well and was great for breakfasts and quick meals but the baby Weber was a highlight and we made some great, one tray dinners for the two of us using it as an oven! Gaynor supplied us with basic provisions (oil, salt and pepper, sugar, tea, milk, assorted jam, vegemite, juice and drinking water). The van has a light on the outside so we didn't need the torches we bought. The only real downside was that the fridge did not work too well for us on our trip and so we had to take a leap of faith with some of the food we had sitting in a warmish fridge and other items we had to throw out. We had our esky with us which we filled with ice which was a good back up. Stand alone- the air con did not function, the regular power sockets did not function, nor the microwave. We would recommend to bring some alternate power adapters (the ones used for car chargers) for phones and electronic equipment as there are sockets all over the van for these which worked off solar power. We brought some rubber mats for outside to prevent dust and dirt entering the van, and Gaynor supplied a picnic rug which made for a lovely outdoor set up. For our style of trip, we would have liked to bring an additional outdoor table as the one supplied was mostly used for the webber and 2/3 tables in the van were not available for use. Bench space and storage inside the van is limited so we made use of the drivers seats and platform to store our large items and under the bed when it was lowered. We did not use the shower or toilet on our trip. Over all, we would happily hire this van again to stay at standalone or powered campsites. A fun and easy get away for a couple!

We really enjoyed our experience in the country escape, loved having a home we could take with us to different locations and enjoyed setting up shop wherever tickled our fancy.
