We had a great time in the van, everything worked perfectly and we had no issues at all.

The van provided is not the same van as used in many of the pictures, images show a superior Expanda Outback with a different layout to the van provided for the trip. I have photos and screenshots to show the swap from what we booked. Van was in an incredibly poor condition, there was water damage throughout and part of the ceiling in the bathroom was rotten through with water damage. The van seemed to be infested with ants in all corners and had clearly not be cleaned with thick dust in parts and food left under the beds. The AC unit didn't work appropriately and leaked water into the van, so much so that the floor of the van would be completed covered in water after only a short period of operation. We had to remove all the carpet as it wouldn't dry out and needed to keep a constant supply of towels on the floor to mop up the water. Fridge didn't appear to work correctly on AC and much of our food was spoiled, we ended up needing to operate the fridge on gas which did appear to alleviate this problem. There was no handover, owner was not present to complete the handover or checklist on the commencement of the hire and instead had a friend provide us the keys who wasn't able to answer questions. Owner was also not present and drop off and asked us to leave the keys in his letterbox. The entire hire was completed without meeting the owner. Any questions were answered with links to YouTube videos which seemed to be the owner's "handover". I have photographic evidence and screenshots of each of these issues and testimony from an independent 3rd party who was present at handover. Absolutely would not recommend hiring from this owner. In the days following the completion of the hire the owner tried to insinuate that the rotten through roof was caused by us despite it being clear that the rot was incredibly long standing.

Had a great time. Very easy to tow. Hardly knew it was there. A great van for a couple to get around in.
