We had the best time! Phoenix was an easy drive and had everything we needed to have a fantastic holiday. We could have utilised the features more and had a more off the grid trip too. Anjali was an excellent host - super encouraging and very communicative. We loved our adventure and cant wait to get back at it!

Lovely holiday in the van! A few minor points- my boyfriend is 5ft 10 and could not lie out on the bed (had to sleep curled up) so this is not the van for tall people! Other minor problems which Im sure the host will rectify before the next happy camper!

We picked up the van Phoenix from Sydney and drove it up to Byron Bay's Bluesfest, where we camped for four days and it was just perfect. The van was super comfortable to drive and had everything we needed. It was such a treat to have a hot shower at the end of a dusty festival day! The oven worked without any issues, and we really appreciated being supplied with an extra gas bottle. The battery lasted the full four days without needing a charge, which was super convenient. The cute LED lights in the back added a nice touch, and the temperature inside stayed really comfortable throughout. All in all, it was an easy, hassle-free experience and made the trip so much more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

We hired the van for a 7 day roadtrip to the south coast. There were pros and cons, the biggest cons being that the van interior was dirty (grubby, cluttered, lots of random junk inside like fluffy cushion covers that smelt) and the short length of the bed. The pros: - van is very fuel efficient and nice to drive - great shower inside - kitchen is good to cook in - good gas Cooktop. - the mattress is comfy The cons: - mattress comfy but very short - recc for people under 5'8 only or you'll be sleeping with knees bent. There's a hack you can try to lengthen the bed, but it's not a great quality sleep. Van was dirty - floors, surfaces, cupboards all needed a good clean. Smelly cushions and mats. We ended up chucking the smelly stuff in the boot, but it took up precious space and I didn't expect to need to mop floors, wipe dust or dirty surfaces etc. - Clutter - the van needs a very good deep clean and clear out of broken stuff and random junk. Lastly, there's a few broken things in the van itself - the grey water pipe attachment, and error code on the electric panel, and the speedometer runs 10km over the speed you're actually going. These need to be fixed or in a hirer manual.

Our whole experience both with Anj and Phoenix the van was awesome! Anj got back to us promptly and efficiently each time we contacted her and was delightfully friendly and accomodating. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she has kitted the van out most generously with equipment and design. Her love of life and for doing good to others shines and we cannot recommend her enough. Phoenix the van never missed a beat! So comfortable to drive and so much room to store everything. The layout really works well for 2 and we thoroughly enjoyed our time travelling in the great outdoors with literally our shell on our back! It was so lovely to see a great picnic spot and know we could stop, grab the cheese n wine and be so laid back and relaxed. Absolutely delighted with the experience Anj provided and we would 100% hire again. The photos dont do sufficient justice!! Phoenix is a top model !!

Phoenix was an absolutely joy to stay in and had everything we needed for our small getaway trip! Anjali is also incredibly flexible with great comms leading up. Would definitely recommend :)

It was a wonderful experience hiring Anjali's van! So awesome to be able to have a hot shower after adventuring in the snow and be able to park and sleep anywhere. For fellow tall travelers ~ the bed is a wee bit short, but we made due by pulling out the table at night, putting a bag on top of the table and then putting our pillows on top of that, to extend the space a bit. It was also SO cool to be able to pull out the ladder and hangout on top of the van! P.s. Anjali rescues kitties from the streets to find them new homes, so I highly recommend meeting all the babies before/after your van hire to see if the kitty distribution system adopts you!
