The van leaked when it rained. Luckily did not leak where we were sleeping or in the spot where my laptop was, just destroyed our scrabble board game and a big hoard of ants came in. The table was filty and unuseable as well as the clothes drying hanger so we had to buy these items. The back door containing poles came off while we were driving. It was lucky they didnt come out and injure people. There was aircon but it didnt work until my husband went to the hardware store and rigged up a makeshift funnel as it was just coming out at ground level ( as cold air doesn't rise). The fridge also didnt work without power due to an issue with gas lines which leaked.It was a nice experience to have a van, but I wouldnt hire this one again unfortunately. The flaws with it were not made explicit to us before we left. It needs significant maintainance before being hired out again.

A lovely, rustic little van and Anthony was very helpful and informative in his hand over. Everything in the van worked well and it had everything we needed.

We enjoyed a couple nights in the van. It's easy to tow and setup of the Avan is much quicker than other popup campers! The awning was a little fiddly but we worked it out.

Pros: The van was light and easy to tow, and quick and easy to erect and pack up. It was well equipped with everything you need while away. The bed was very comfortable. The air conditioner is noisy but a godsend on hot days and nights. We experienced a decent storm and the van handled it with ease, and didnt leak. It is an older Avan but we enjoyed the ease, space and design of it. Cons: On arrival it was very dirty outside. Inside there was thick dirt, dust, dead bugs and cobwebs around windows and in all the tracks. The walls and ceiling had mould, mildew and were discoloured by dirty marks. We cleaned for an hour before we felt comfortable to stay in it. I didnt feel it was up to rentable level of cleanliness and hygiene. We werent shown how to put up the annex and actively discouraged from doing it by Anthony which was disappointing. The fridge didnt work for first 24 hours, but finally became cold.

Loved the size of the van. It was very stable and easy to tow, very easy and quick to setup and pack up. The kitchen tap had hot water and an electric pump so was very convenient to use. Lighting inside van was excellent and the van had everything we needed, clean linen, towels and generous pillows and the bed was very comfortable. Van had a bike rack which we used for our bikes. It had an air conditioner. Anthony was easy to deal with.
