Dissapointed with van overall. Fridge did not work. Cups were not clean, had lipstick & liquid stains. Afraid cupboard Hinges would break when opening doors. Floor in front of shower rotted, felt would give way & go through it. Paid linen package and had sand in bed. Interior very worn & not welcoming, externally showing its age, could do with good polish. External door latches also showing their age in operation. Given we paid $2k for 5 days we did not get value for money.

Hi John Thank you for your feedback. Im sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. I do want to address a few points for clarity. The van is a 2012 model, which was clearly stated at the time of booking in early December, and the listing photos on Camplify accurately reflect its condition. This allowed time to consider whether a newer vehicle would better suit your expectations prior to proceeding with the hire. Regarding cleanliness, I personally launder the linen and made the beds the day before your hire using my own washing machine. I am not a professional laundry service, however I do take care to ensure the van is cleaned and prepared to a standard ready for each booking. With the fridge, it was tested prior to hire and operating at that time. I also note that no contact was made during your trip to raise or troubleshoot this issue, and I am always available to assist in real time where possible. I also made several adjustments to assist with your booking, including changing agreed drop-off and pick-up times, and agreeing to have your son drop off the van, which is not a standard inclusion, before that arrangement was later changed. Following your hire, your concerns were already raised and discussed with me directly via message and phone, which I responded to at the time. As part of that, I also offered a goodwill gesture regarding tolls. Its disappointing to see these matters raised again publicly after they had already been addressed.
