Australians love caravan and camping holidays, so it is no surprise that there are a number of shows and exhibitions around the country. These events are fantastic for visitors to see everything the industry has to offer in one place! Plus you often get fantastic special offers, competitions, demonstrations, speaking events, and seminars if you want to learn more about camping and caravanning.

For exhibitors, these events are ideal for getting your products or services in front of people who are enthusiastic about caravanning and/or camping. Queensland Caravan, Camping & Touring Supershow

The Queensland Caravan, Camping & Touring Supershow is a week-long event that gets about 60,000 visitors. This makes it one of the biggest in the country but it is also one of the oldest – it has been running for five decades now. It is therefore well established and is an essential event for everyone who loves caravanning, or who works in the industry.

Typically they put on a children’s area to keep them entertained, while for the adults that are around 300 exhibitors, celebrity speakers, demonstrations, and more. It is also an event that many companies use to launch new products. The caravans and vehicles showcased at the event include caravans, camper trailers, tent trailers, off-road vehicles, recreational vehicles, and more. In addition, there is a plethora of other caravan and camping accessories, gadgets, tools, and services on display. You can pick up some great bargains, and there are plenty of prizes to be won.

Gold Coast Caravan and Camping Expo plus Home and Outdoor Living Ideas

The Gold Coast Midyear Caravan and Camping Expo plus Home and Outdoor Living Ideas exhibition runs over a weekend in July every year. About 15,000 people come through the gate to see over 150 exhibitors. Those exhibitors include local companies as well as regional and national brands.

Caravans, motorhomes, camper trailers, camping equipment, 5th wheelers, and a range of accessories are all available. Plus there are a number of outdoor products for your home including outdoor furniture, patios, blinds, pools, spas, and more. Essentially you get two great events in one location! And there are also competitions and plenty of activities and entertainment events for the whole family.

If you are in New South Wales you should make a date in your diary every year to attend the NSW Caravan, Camping & Holiday Supershow. It is the biggest show in the state with more than 300 exhibitors. You will find caravans, campervans, camper trailers, motorhomes, 5th wheelers, and accessories. There are also tents and other camping equipment plus holiday park exhibitors and other companies related to the holiday industry. Make sure you enter the competitions too as there are fantastic prizes to be won.

Sydney 4WD and Adventure Show

Whether you are interested in 4WDs, off-roading, or caravanning, the Sydney 4WD and Adventure Show is an event that you should include in your diary. It runs over a weekend, usually in the middle of October, and is located at the Western Sydney International Dragway.

It features caravans, motorhomes, campervans, camper trailers, camping equipment, and camping accessories. There is also a huge focus on off-roading and 4WD vehicles, products and accessories, plus a huge range of outdoor products, fishing equipment, and boating. There are competitions that you can enter, and great activities for all the family.

Victoria

Victorian Caravan, Camping and Touring Supershow

The organisers of the Victorian Caravan and Camping Show describe it as Australia’s biggest outdoor show. It is probably justified in using this description as it has over 60,000 square metres of exhibition space available. The event used to be held at Caulfield Racecourse but in recent years it has moved to the Melbourne Showgrounds to give it this extra space. Around 60,000 people attend the event, which runs for six days.

Hundreds of exhibitors go to the show with everything from caravans to motorhomes to 5th wheelers available. There are also plenty of seminars, talks and entertainment events, plus they usually have fantastic competitions. Very often this involves winning a caravan. The show usually takes place in February.

It is also a well-established event that has been running for over 60 years. As a result it is exceptionally well run with plenty of things to do for all the family – in fact there is so much to do you might need one of the three-day passes that are available!

Melbourne Leisurefest

Melbourne Leisurefest is an event that usually takes place each year in October at Sandown Racecourse. It is jointly run by the Caravan Trade & Industries Association of Victoria and the Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce. It is a big event too, with about 32,000 people attending over the four days that it usually runs for.

A huge range of exhibitors attend the show so there are caravans, camping equipment, camper trailers, tent trailers, 4x4s, off road vehicles, touring accessories, outdoor equipment, towing equipment, 4×4 parts, power products, and more. There are also plenty of activities and fun things to do for all the family including seminars, live entertainment, competitions, and activities for children.

Bendigo Leisurefest

Bendigo Leisurefest is a three-day caravan, camping and holiday exhibition that usually takes place each year in November. It is located at Bendigo Racecourse in Victoria, and is attended by about 15,000 people. All the latest caravans, motorhomes, 5th wheelers, and campervans are on display as well as 4WDs and other off road vehicles. You will also find things like touring accessories, camping equipment, RV telecommunication products, and more.

Entertainment is also available, including activities and fun things to do for children. There are also plenty of prizes to be won in the competitions.

South Australia 4WD & Adventure Show

This event is a little bit different to the others featured on this list so far because of its heavy focus on 4WD vehicles and off-roading. That said it is still the best exhibition in South Australia for everything caravan, motorhome and camping related. It usually runs in October over three days (Friday to Sunday) and is held at the Adelaide Showground.

In most years they have four main themes to make it easier for visitors to find what they are looking for. Those themes are camper trailers, off-road caravans and automotive, 4WD and camping accessories, and boating and fishing. There are also loads of attractions and displays, including displays of 4WD driving.
