I was intrigued by the Tail Feather when I first came across them on the net a couple of years ago. So intrigued, I flew over to Colorado in the US, and hung out with the inventor for a week, before placing my order for not one, but nine Tail feather Campers. They are totally unique, and a great conversation starter when you're out and about in the bush. Because they are modular, the floor plan is extremely flexible, so they have the potential to suit all types of travelers; solo, couples, and families with children. We camp in a 12' 6" Tail Feather on the Mornington Peninsula each summer. The Tail Feather 8' we have for hire is more suitable for weekend getaways and short trips. The beauty of the Tail Feather is you don't need a big car to tow it.
