Vinnie is a sweet ride. He has housed us for the last 18 months throughout the pandemic and taken us on one epic journey from around Australia. Now he is yours to loan. A few important things to note before I go on: Vinnie is 28 years old. He's an Automatic and runs on "Unleaded". The van is fully set up with just about everything you will need for a memorable adventure, such as an icy cold 12/240v Engel Bar Fridge that stores plenty of food, ample storage space for your belongings, an in cabin stereo that will allow you to play some cool beats while you relax under the awning enjoying those memorable sunsets with a bevvy on the camp chairs/table provided and even a TV and a selection of movies should the weather not be in your favour. Vinnie is NOT to be taken OFFROAD or ON SAND. Vinnie has been professionally fitted out by Frontline back in the early 00's so yes he is very well loved but still very functional and has an awesome layout. He is a poptop and a long wheel base so it's extra roomy compared to other campervans! He's also just had brand spankin new canvas installed in the poptop. There is a fully equipped kitchen with sink and 12v water pump with a huge water tank under the van. The dining area during day converts to sleeping at night and is as simple as shifting a few cusions around. In the kitchen is a butane stove (1 can per day provided for each day of hire) for boiling up that hot water for your morning cuppas or cooking up a feast at night. Vinnie has been recently changed over to lithium power and has 120ah battery which should give you 2 solid nights of power servicing fridge, TV, Radio, all lights and charging phones without the need to recharge. Simply driving for 2 to 3 hours will return the charge back to 100%. -All pots, pans and cutlery. -Vinnie also has 240v hookup. -200w Solar blanket to keep you charged up while sun is shining -12v Fan to keep you cool while sleeping Heaps of storage!

Hire Fee: From $110.00 per day

Cancellations

Strict

Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

Holiday was fantastic in Vinnie - practical, simple to drive and set up, great size. Paul gave through intro and sent through videos which were very helpful and useful during the trip also. Had basic linens and kit to make do for a short getaway! Had a fantastic trip and definitely recommend !!

This was my first time in a camper van! Vinnie was as-advertised, a trusty ol' home on wheels. I found it fairly easy to drive on the roundtrip between St Kilda and Bacchus Marsh area. Sadly our camping trip to Mornington was cancelled due to covid, so for our 10 days together the van was really just a place to sleep whilst visiting family in the country. As a bed, Vinnie is quite comfortable! A firm mattress and plenty of room. The van's battery lasts for a good long while (min a couple of days), even with the fridge running. The interior has some nice lighting and there are USB outlets to charge your phone. Also a stove with plenty of extra fuel canisters and a sink for cleaning dishes. Bed packs away to make room for a dining table. The awning off the side of the van is huge and will provide lots of shade! Didn't need to use it, but Paul showed me how to connect the solar blanket which would have easily powered the van. Vinnie is quite tidy and organized, but has seen some real adventures and it shows. I drove through a downpour on the highway and there was a very small leak from the rooftop canvas; wasn't big issue and Paul said he'll be getting it fixed. The van is completely functional and obviously well maintained mechanically. Feels very safe! I would definitely recommend hiring Vinnie for your camping adventures!!
