**Available for pick up/drop off outside business hours and anytime weekends by negotiation** The Scud is perfect for almost any trip but please be aware that the longer your trip is the more km's go on the engine. So I have a guideline of about 300km per day spread over a trip and anything over that, I charge just 25c per km at the end of the trip. CHECK OUT THE SCUD'S FEATURES KITCHEN AND DINING - You can cook then eat inside or outside! - Wooden kitchen with a bench, sink and outside extension - 70L Fridge + Freezer inside - Slide-out cooking unit with double gas burner with grill (gas included) - Roof-mounted in/out multi-speed exhaust fan with automatic rain-sense closing - Hand-pump tap and sink with 40L fresh + 20L grey water tanks - Cookware, real wine glasses, plates, bowls, mugs, cutlery, utensils, spices, chopping boards - Pantry items like instant coffee, tea, sugar, cooking oil, salt & pepper are included free for your use - Eat dinner inside on the couch with drop-down buffet hatch/table, or outside with 2 x outdoor camping chairs and a folding camp table. - Cleaning - hand wash, detergent, tea towels, bug spray, dustpan/brush and waste bin SLEEPING - Daytime couch converts to a comfy Twin Mattress (186 x 118cm) - please take special note if you are tall - Basic linen - 2 pillows & cushions included - Bedding Linen upon request for a fee - towels and either sheets/quilt or double sleeping bag OFF-GRID / ELECTRICAL - - Easy to use Solar Power charges a 100Ah lithium leisure battery and powers the fridge, lights, fan and other small devices - There is a 15A extension cable to connect to land power if you are at a caravan park - Toaster, electric kettle & microwave oven all provided which can only be run from land power - Charge your personal devices using USB ports from one of the 4 convenient van rear locations - LED Reading light for those who like a novel before going to sleep - 1000W inverter to power your small 240V devices - Battery monitoring system with easy-to-use LCD display to ensure you don't run out of battery power - You can connect your bluetooth-enabled smartphone to the car stereo for hands free calls and navigation - a phone mount is included PETS - there is limited room but if you like to cosy up to your pet then why not - by prior negotiation only! STORAGE - several pantry and other drawers / cupboards. NO SMOKING at all in the Scud please. ADVENTURE Surf - you can fit a surfboard on the roof rack Cycling - you can fit a bike inside the van for travel (must be removed for sleeping) Hiking/Climbing - there is a bucket for wet gear & storage - BYO torches/headlamps etc Games - cards & Uno provided LOCATION - Pick up in Malvern - just 2 suburbs south of Adelaide CBD. Pick-up/drop-off outside work hours on weekdays, by negotiation anytime on weekends. SERVICE FEE - Covers the amenities, full clean, full gas bottle and consumables. EXTRAS - ask for anything not listed, I may be able to provide! FAQ - - Can I park at your house? Yes, there is on-street parking in our safe street - Can we do a long drive? I include 300km per day, after that I charge 25c per km for vehicle maintenance (so as an example, for a 4 day hire the first 1200km is included and extra km's over that are charged)

Hiring rules

• EMERGENCY If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 1300 416 133 they will advise the Hirer how to contact NRMA. Then call me!
• DRIVING guests must be able to competently drive a manual transmission.
• DAMAGE If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required.
• NO Smoking inside
• PETS potentially available upon application
• NO Offroad / NO Beach Driving / NO Extended Gravel Roads
• UNSEALED roads must be preapproved in writing in Camplify Messages before the trip begins. Please be familiar with the exclusions, terms and conditions of insurance coverage.
• LONG TRIPS 300 km's a day is included in the booking price. You will be charged 25c per kilometre for additional km travelled over the total allowance. This is calculated within Camplifys pre/post hire checklist
• FUEL Return full of DIESEL All hires include a full tank upon departure.
• AWNING must be packed away before bad weather/strong wind arises
• CLEANING Clean the equipment and Van. Excessive cleaning will incur a charge.
• COOKING GAS no need to return full, I will do it

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

  My 12 years old son and I had an amazing two weeks of camping trip with the Scud. The van was just perfect for us and can not think of any fault. It's compact yet functional, well equiped for everything you need and fuel efficiency saved us money as well. Endless supply of the power that allowed us to go off grid camping whole two weeks without worry about the phone goes flat or fridge getting cut off. It was luxury for us to be able to have a strong room light all night, a big fridge with a freezer that kept our food and drink always fresh and cold, also the ceiling mounted electric fun was a big treat for those balmy nights. The gas cook top was a super powerful and boil the water instantly and cooked stakes perfectly! All facilities in the van are brand new and everything was tidy, clean and well organised. A big thank you to Kent who made our trip very special by providing us Scud with safe and great comfort. Kent was very kind, supportive, excellent in communication, super organised and lovely to dealt with. Definately five stars from us!
