I can only recommend that car after 33 days a more than 6000km. It is a nearly perfect touring rig. It has everything you would need for a trip along the west coast. Very comfortable roof top tent, a big awning for shade or as a rain cover on bad days. It has more than enough battery power to run the 12v setup for days. I was never even close to run out of power even on rainy days where the massiv solar setup wasnt running at full capacity. The patrol has front and rear air lockers as well as a winch so there is pretty much nowhere you cant go (in a touring rig.

From day one, Matt was incredible. With very positive communication for the whole hiring period, a "no hassle" approach & very responsive to any questions. We ended up hiring for an extra 2 days and Matt was more than accommodating to our request. The GU Patrol has been set up for the best that WA has to throw at it. Long distance travel made easy with a direct injection turbo diesel engine & camping (or should I say "glamping") equipment including an easy to use rooftop tent, 3 on board batteries, a massive solar system & storage you could fit a small apartment in. Highly recommend this hirer and his beast of a set up. Cheers Matt
