We are taking extra steps to support our community of van owners & holidaymakers during this confusing and challenging time. Here at Camplify, we want our community to feel confident about travelling and experiencing vanlife. This is why we have released several new resources and adapted our cancellation policy to make sure you are protected from the risk of future outbreaks.
Below you will find our latest resources and updated policies aimed to help our community safely navigate and make informed decisions when making holiday plans.
We’ve updated our cancellation policy in response to COVID-19
On Wednesday, May 27th, we updated our cancellation policies to give our hiring community more certainty and more protection in the event of government restrictions being reimposed.
- Our van owners can now choose which of our three cancellation policies they would like to use: Flexible, Moderate, Strict.
- Each of the policies has information around standard cancellations (‘Change of mind’) and also provides special conditions to protect against cancellations caused by government restrictions (‘Government Restrictions’).

Frequently asked questions about COVID-19
To help our holidaymakers and bring reassurance to our community of van owners, we’ve created the following list of answers to some of our community’s most common questions, which will be regularly updated here:
Cleaning and behaviour changes
We’re extremely proud of the hygiene standards our community of van owners offer, and this is clear to see from the number of five-star reviews. To help bring reassurance to holidaymakers, we’re asking our community to take extra measures during this time.
We’ve introduced a new Cleaning and Behaviour guide for our community of van owners, including simple behaviour changes and top tips to enhance cleaning regimes (as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention).

Message from the CEO
Since we started the company, just over 5 years ago, our community and love of outdoor adventures have always been at the centre of everything we do. These are certainly unprecedented times, and naturally, the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak has generated some concern. I want to take this opportunity to ensure you, our community, that we will do everything within our power to assist, inform and guide you through these turbulent times, and also to outline what steps we are taking going forward.
More than ever providing relief to get into the outdoors, nature, and recharge in some isolation, has never been more important. All things that we love at Camplify, and what our owners RVs provide.
We are a community that is built upon trust, goodwill and sharing. These values have never been more vital. Our community has already demonstrated its resilience and goodwill during crises such as the floods and the bushfires. Although COVID-19 presents some new challenges, we will get through it together.
Our community of small family-run businesses is relying on us and we will continue to keep them at the centre of our strategy. Whether it is guiding our owners on how to further improve their high standard of van cleanliness, informing holidaymakers about which destinations are open, helping our employees work on the road, we will take every step necessary to provide our community with assistance.
For those of you who are not ready to travel yet, we hope you will find inspiration with our destinations, road trips and unique vans.
We are all in this together and we look forward to exploring together soon.
